Seawell is deeply committed to creating, developing and maintaining the expertise and technology needed to make it a market leader in drilling and well services. R&D is fundamental to that process and a major priority within the company.

In addition to running our own, internal R&D projects, we invite E&P companies seeking innovative solutions or new technology to contact us for partnership discussions. We also encourage other service/technology companies to make contact for the co-operation or partnership needed to add value to projects, or to present innovations more effectively to a wider marketplace.

In summary, we believe that achieving and sustaining competitive advantage requires Seawell both to develop unique technologies through its R&D programme (whether hardware, software or both) and to provide innovative solutions - that combine Seawell's technology, intellectual capital, expertise and experience.
