Handling risk

Risk is an inevitable component of R&D work and needs to be identified and managed effectively to be made acceptable.

R&D is, by its nature, risk prone. Testing new products and processes, particularly, has to involve going beyond the normal extremes of stress, temperature and pressure to which products may be exposed.

Seawell has rigorous procedures in place to ensure effective QHSE standards in all its activity. With timely, thorough, risk assessment and effective risk management, R&D projects can be completed successfully and safely, without incident.
