Our facilities

Seawell's fixed R&D offices and bases are in Norway and the UK.

In Bergen, we have located electronic and acoustic workshops, laboratories and a test facility.

In Stavanger, we have a mechanical workshop, laboratory and testing facility. The latter also includes an onshore well, purpose-designed to train new personnel and to test deployment systems, mechanical downhole equipment (for intervention or permanent installation) and logging tools.

In each of our test facilities, we are able to manipulate both pressure and temperature to facilitate running the industry's standard tests.

Seawell R&D teams do not just operate in Norway and the UK. They will also be assembled and based anywhere in the world when that will provide the most convenient, practical or efficient solution. Many factors may affect these decisions - including local knowledge or competence, site capacity and proximity to particular markets.
