Objects of interest are first observed using the camera in downward facing mode. Operation can be switched to side view to enable a close up inspection. Changing the view is achieved via surface-control of the integral motor, facilitating a full 360o inspection.
ViewMax can be run on any conventional e-line and requires only a single conductor to supply power and carry images to the surface. Images are captured at the rate of approximately 1 frame per second and can be viewed and stored on a surface laptop.
