Star Gauge memory gauges

The Star Gauge includes an interchangeable, self-contained well bore pressure or temperature sensor, which has been designed as a disposable tool, needing zero maintenance throughout its life span. This is achieved by using a unique process that welds the piezo-resistive sensor into the gauge housing, completely sealing the unit and removing the need for any potentially problematic o-ring seals around the sensor. Metal seals are used exclusively throughout the tool, with o-ring backups.
 
The Star Gauge can be powered by a simple AA lithium battery, removing any requirement for dangerous good declarations and allowing them to be flown on commercial flights and helicopters. For longer duration operations a single or double C cell lithium battery can be used.
 
The Star Gauge carrier utilizes a standard, reusable housing, allowing different sensor types to use the same tool bodies. These can be customized to fit any customer's tool string and application requirements.
