Seal Tight junk basket

Unlike conventional junk baskets, the Seal Tight junk basket is fitted with a soft packing element below the fishing neck. In the 'set' position, the packing element prevents debris from falling down the outside to reach the bridge plug below.
 
The Seal Tight junk basket is run and set with a GS Pulling tool. When running in, well fluid can flow into the Junk Basket through the ball check valve and leave through the fishing neck.

At setting depth the junk basket is landed on top of the bridge plug. When jarring down, the packing element is set. Continued jarring will release the GS pulling tool.

Retrieving of the junk basket is also done with a GS pulling tool. A light jarring action upwards will release the lock system and stretch the packing element. When pulling to surface, the ball check will be closed. However, bypass ports through the packing element will help prevent high pulling weights and ensure good pulling speed.
