Multi-purpose wireline units

This ensures the safest, most efficient well intervention. Designed for fast and easy rig-up and small footprint, every multi-purpose unit can be fitted with any type of wireline cable, in order to reduce the need for different units to tackle different jobs.

The latest safety functionality is also installed; including adjustable, audible and shut-down alarms and the option of reducing the maximum pull of the winch. This ensures the danger of over-pulls and potential wire breakage is reduced.

The state-of-the-art data acquisition system installed provides reliable and accurate monitoring and recording of the actual wire depth, tension and speed. This system has the capabilities of real time data transfer via ethernet, USB-downloads and integration with run simulations.

All of Seawell's wireline units are electric-over-hydraulic powered. A closed-loop hydraulic system results in superior winch control. And slow and stable logging speeds as well as fast slickline runs and high-impact jarring are both possible without shifting gears or replacing components.

The units comply with all relevant standards and are certified for use in Hazardous Area Zone 1.
